Maths Week 2020

Maths Week ran from 10th - 18th October. Pupils from all classes took part in a wide range of fun activities; Maths quizzes, Maths Art, Maths Eyes competitions, Maths trails, Maths Tv, Mangahigh and many more.

  • St.Columba's National School opened its doors in October 1925.

  • Currently we have approximately 400 pupils on roll.

  • We have a Principal, fifteen classroom teachers, three Learning Support/Resource teachers and six Special Needs Assistants.

  • The Chairperson of our Board of Management is Mr. Frank O Connell.

  • Our ancillary staff includes: the school Secretary, Aisling; the school Caretaker, Peter; and the school Lollipop person.

  • We offer a variety of after-school activities. These can vary but usually include ballet, drama, Irish dancing, gymnastics and choir.

Latest Update

If your child is sent home from school with "minor symptoms , no fever equal to or greater than 38 degrees C, no cough, no shortness of breath, no ill household contacts or history of travel, please keep your child at home for a period of 48 hours to observe emerging condition." This is the current public health advice from The HPSC and is subject to change.
