September 15th Update

Dear Parents/ Guardians,

It is so lovely to see all of our pupils safely back in school  and ready to learn. The staff at St.Columba’s have missed their smiling faces.

We wish to thank you for your ongoing cooperation  and support with our new Covid procedures. All of these have been put in place to keep your children and the whole school community safe.

With this is mind, and for the safety of all we would like to send you a few reminders.

  • We would ask all parents to wear a mask when collecting or dropping children.

  • Please continue to  follow social distancing guidelines.

  • Please do not enter the school building - all messages no matter how small must be delivered by phone or email.

  • We draw your attention to the most recent advice from the HSE below. ‘If your child is sent home feeling unwell, parent/guardian must monitor child’s condition for 48 hours for deterioration or new symptoms. If no new symptoms emerge within 48 hours and they do not require paracetamol or ibubrofen, the child can return to school. Any diarrohea must be resolved for 48 hours before return to school’.

Thank you for your co - operation in this matter.

Kind regards,

Eileen Whelan
